“To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.”
                                     -William Blake

When I see the butterfly’s fragile colourful wings, the subtle transitions of light reflected in mountain streams, the vanishing structures on an autumn leave,
when I feel the cold rain drops striking my cheeks on a dark windy winter day,
when I touch with my hand the raw bark of a mighty rippled oak,
when I hear the call of an owl on a late summer night,
then I am in awe,
then I feel at home.

These encounters are such an experience, that I feel a strong urge to share my stories. These stories are about curiosity, intimacy, and above all about diversity.

Since my birth, this life has been a journey. The past years, my journey is also taking me to far away places, where cultures and nature manifest themselves in very different ways. When I enter unknown lands, I try to immerse myself in these new surroundings. The prerequisite for this proccess is time. Learning the local language, observing people’s rituals, participating in the work they do, creates understanding and meaningfull experiences. I believe that by living and traveling slower, we are able to pay more attention to the essence and diversity of life.
